I hum this passage of text all of a sudden when I think of Nena. No wonder, because she just celebrated her 40th stage anniversary. During this time she has sold no less than 25 million records and developed into one of the most successful artists in the history of music in Germany. Her daughter Larissa is in no way inferior to Nena when it comes to creativity. She is a singer and artist, creates Pop Art portraits in her Hamburg studio and was last seen with her mother on the jury for “The Voice Kids”.
This concentrated female power has recently been incorporated into her own fashion collection, which is now available from Tom Tailor. The first capsule collection is inspired by the 70s and combines many newly interpreted retro looks. Both agree: “We love the check patterns and the nostalgic vibe that resonates in the collection”. In an autumnal colour range, check meets cool prints and knits. The collection focuses on cool check trousers in a wide variety of silhouettes and lengths.

When I am invited to a birthday or a similar event, the dress code almost always overwhelms me. This is because I find it hard to judge how chic or cosy the other guests are when they arrive at the meeting point. With a jumpsuit you are always dressed right in my opinion, because it looks cool and special, but also has a high wearing comfort. Cuffs and a button placket serve as a decorative technique for the one-piece suit and make the work-wear style perfect.
