Los Angeles is a paradise for shopping and offers something for every taste. One of the most famous and beautiful addresses is The Grove. A beautiful shopping area under the open sky with a huge selection of brands.
A second place to go is the Third Street Promenade at the Santa Monica Pier, which is beautifully lit in the evening and animated by many street performers. If you spend a day on the beach of Santa Monica, it’s worthwhile to make a short detour to the nearby shopping street. Between Santa Monica and Venice Beach is one of our favorite shopping addresses. Abbot Kinney offers many of the so-called “healthy food spots” that Los Angeles is famous for, as well as great boutiques where you can find boho-inspired clothing and beautiful jewelry.
For those, who are looking for unique labels or vintage fashion should go to Melrose Avenue. Additionally you can find many sweet cafes and the well-known wing walls, where you can make funny photos. Every Sunday Melrose Avenue also hosts the Melrose Trading Post open-air flea market, which invites to browse. And every second Sunday the Rosebowl Fleamarket opens its doors. Another top address for vintage bargains is Wasteland. Here I found this denim jacket by Guess. But they also offer designer pieces from Saint Laurent, Chanel and trendy labels like Supreme. So if you’re looking for vintage designer fashion, you may find what you are looking for at what goes around comes around on the Rodeo Drive. The shop has an unbelievably large selection of exclusive pieces, but the prices can not be described as a bargain.
Detached it’s nice to visit the Rodeo Drive and its impressive promenade, at least to browse.
Another unique thing about shopping in LA is the great offer of streetwear and sneaker resellers. They sell many of the coveted and limited edition like Nike x Off-White, Yeezy, Supreme, Palace and more. The prices are relatively expensive, but if you are looking for a very specific part, you can get lucky here. My favorites were Round Two, RIF Los Angeles and The Holy Grail.
