Sometimes I’m standing in front of the wardrobe and just don’t know what to wear. True to the motto – “For the trees, you can not see the forest”. Then there are days when I just rummage in my boyfriend’s clothes, who share a similar love of fashion with me. He probably never thought, that he would make me happy with some of his purchases.
How to break the style with your friend’s clothes:
Many styles currently have an oversized fit, that make Sven’s coats, jackets, and sweaters a potential new garment for me. In this case, the long blazer is actually mine and I’ve styled the check combination with his off-white belt. When you try new styles with garments from the foreign wardrobe, it’s only important to play with the body proportions.
If the top looks very boxy, try to accentuate the waist or legs with a belt or tight jeans.
The best combination for long and loose coats are high heels or pumps. They’re a great possibility to give the look a feminine touch.
Long hoodies are not only incredibly comfortable. With a dress and overknee boots, the style break is just perfect.
If the proportions are already harmonious, try to add statement earrings or a red lipstick for example.
