“To call your job your passion is definitely a meaning of success in my opinion”
How often do you experience people who are bad-tempered, dissatisfied with their job and work environment, and in spite of all, they do not change their fate. And yes, unfortunately, these cases are far too frequent. Dissatisfaction in one’s own job has become almost a nuisance in Germany.
Before I started working full-time on our blog with Sonja and Maike, I worked for many different providers. From being a waitress, to a Social Media Manager in a retail trade, I met again and again super sympathetic but often dissatisfied employees who complained about their work almost every day.
“Is it because of the rather pessimistic attitude of the Germans or is it due to the awful working conditions?”
I am always a friend of positive vibes and a positive attitude. And especially if something bothers you, then you always have the chance to do something about it. Because just remember the saying …
“Every man is the artisan of his own fortune.”
And I can say with luck that I feel comfortable and absolutely satisfied in my job. With the best colleagues at my side, we overcome every obstacle and celebrate together all our successes. Of course, every industry has its downside. But I have already met so many interesting people who are all working hard for their own success and are happy with it. An incredible inspiration for me is our good friend Jeremy Möller. The successful young photographer, started with an age of 17. He used all his school vacation to travel to all the fashion weeks to capture bloggers, models etc. in their best outfits. Meanwhile, he jets around the world and is already known as an successful photographer in the fashion industry. If anyone pursues his goals, it is Jeremy.
Life is definitely too short to be dissatisfied with whatever you are doing. Take the chance and do what makes you happy! Because only if you love what you do, you can be really successful.
