Silvester 2017 – Wie wir ins neue Jahr rutschen!

New Year’s Eve is coming and the new year 2018 is about to start. Of course, this requires a reason to celebrate. Since I had already told you in one of my previous blog posts, what my highlights of 2017 were, I do not have to reminisce in melancholy thoughts all over again.

But one of my absolute highlights was our new apartment, which my boyfriend found for us. Sometimes I can hardly believe my own luck, because we could not be happier. Especially in the current difficult real estate market situation, our 4-room apartment in one of the best areas of Hamburg was an absolute stroke of luck, which literally fell into our laps.

Because not only my two-day Tokyo Trip, which I promised two hours before departure, I decided spontaneously, but also the agreement to our apartment. Without ever having seen the condo live, I signed the contract. At the same time I was in Los Angeles with the girls and could only decide on the basis of some photos and a video, whether the apartment should be our own. But much more important for me was to rely on the feeling of my boyfriend, who was directly in love with the beautiful old apartment. That’s how I agreed to moving in our new home. And I must say I only had one day of thinking it through, with more than 9,000 km distance.

That’s why we’ve decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve in our own new home this year. Especially because this apartment has a very special meaning for us, which we would like to celebrate with our loved ones. Personally, I could not imagine a better place than to slide into the New Year 2018 with our families and best friends.
