Offshoulder Blouse

Keepsake Flower Top & Saint Laurent Collège Bag… Offshoulder tops are just indispensable this summer . But this model has completely stolen my heart, after it had been sold out everywhere. I always Thought, that I’m “up to date” and still slept through one or the other dream textile. But that is fashion. Trends come and go and some garments become an insider tip overnight and a few hours later, they disappeared from all sales areas.

But the solution isn’t to watch the online shops obsessed every day. That would take the fun and easiness of fashion completely. And if you should actually miss a certain item and the fate would have it, you’ll get it one day!

Here are my tips for the online search:

1.For sure it helps a lot, if you know the exact name of the piece and the label. If you have seen it on a blog, look for  the included productlinks. In most cases, the products are listed completely. If you can’t find it, just write a nice message to the blogger, who always like to help out.

2. Potentially, you can connect to point 1 and also ask the blogger, how and where they bought the garment.

3. Enter the complete product reference on Google and hope for many search results. Often, online stores are directly listed, in which the item can be bought. Otherwise, it also helps to change the view on Google into Shopping.

4. If Google doesn’t succeed, Pinterest has helped me out a few times. There I found the links to some unknown online stores, where I could get the item. This really has broadened my horizons in the online search.

5.My last rescure are thrift portals like Kleiderkreisel and Mädchenflohmarkt. While it takes a lot of patience and luck to find a specific textile there, but it is definitely a good way. Search for the item with many different words. Not every seller describes her products with the exact product name you have in mind. Consider this and have a little patience.

And if the search should nevertheless fail, try not to be too sad! It’s just a piece of clothing, and there are a thousand more important things in life.

P.S. I got the top accidentally  with Kira’s help. She discovered it at Asos as single model. It’s called Keepsake Foundations Top Dark Wallpaper. For all, who love the pattern as beautiful as me, here you can still find the matching pants.
