The first heat wave has finally arrived in Hamburg. I love the summer and when the sun is shining outside and the temperatures scratch the 30 degrees mark, I’m just happy. Hamburg then simply appears again in a completely different light. When summer arrives here, I will know for sure that it is the most beautiful city in the world.
Luckily, even when it’s 30 degrees here, there is always a small breeze blowing that cools you down. Especially when you drive towards the harbor you notice the light wind. But you can not only cool off at the harbor, but also in the middle of the city, on the Alster. It’s just crazy: On a normal day you can only spot sailboats and suddenly the Alster is completely full of stand-up paddlers, pedal boats, kayaks and rubber dinghies. The people are enjoying their city when summer arrives here.
Once I’ve got a little tan, I love wearing white summer dresses. Somehow I feel as if I am on vacation. This year the colors white and beige have become indispensable for me anyway. I really like to wear light colored pieces in all combinations.
