This season, we say goodbye to the classic zipper, because in 2018 buttons the IT accessory par excellence. Wether with jumpsuits, blouses or the popular button-down dresses – buttons shouldn’t be missed this summer. You already know the typical summer look … a light linen dress with tortoiseshell buttons, Espandrilles and in the best case a sweet basket bag. But the cool button-down dress is a real all-rounder and is now to our advantage in all different cuts and designs.

“Why do we love button-down dresses?”

The eye-catching button rows make a simple-cut dress appear very exciting. Through small details, the whole dress gets directly a different character. But the rest of the outfit choice is much easier than other dresses. The buttons as an IT accessory require enough attention and it does not take much additional jewelry. I went for a sporty model in dark denim. Of course, the highlight here is the brown button placket. Nevertheless, I wanted to make the look a bit cooler and more casual and have chosen some black biker boots to go with it.
