There are days when I am asking myself, even as a blogger, what I should wear today. The problem of any women.
“The wardrobe bursts from all seams and yet you will not find anything to wear!”
This is how I felt when I packed my suitcase for our short trip to London. And, of course, it would not only be a question of what to wear. No, this issue is influenced by more outside factors than you think. Back to the main problem…
“One night – three looks … what am I going to pack?”
I usually decide spontaneously what to wear that day. I can not say exactly with which piece of clothing I begin to chose my final look. This always happens intuitively. Still, I would like to tell you today three little tips, as I proceed with my outfit choices.
1. “Who is invited at the event and who will see me wearing this look?”
Of course also us bloggers wear our clothes more than once. Nevertheless, it is always important to me that I create an entire new look even though one piece is rather old. Here I go again, thinking of all the last events or meetings and what I have worn, to avoid possible double looks.
2. “What does the weather say?”
The weather plays an important role for any of my outfits. Because no matter how beautiful the outfit may be, I must always feel comfortable in my skin. And unfortunately I don’t do that if I’m totally freezing.. That is why I always pack a cozy hoodie to be safe. But Hey, if you combine it right, a simple gray hoodie can turn out to be a very cool street style look itself.
3. “What is the dresscode: chic or casual?”
A dresscode can simplify the whole packing process for many events, as some outfits are tossed directly. For the more limited, the fewer decisions must be made. But old pieces can definitely be combined again. If I’m missing out of inspiration, I like to browse a little through Pinterest to get some new ideas. Of course, these three tips can be applied not only to special events, but also to any other situation in the day-to-day life… Simply whenever one of you is questioning themselves “what should I wear”.
