Germany

We just stayed at home this month. We only made a trip to Berlin for two days. What did we do in Berlin? Above all, we went there to get to know Dennis Creuzberg. Maike already met Dennis one year ago as part of an event and now we finally found a date to visit his hairdresser’s shop together. Dennis and his team are just incredibly nice, so the three of us felt very comfortable immediately and we left the salon super happy with great hair. In the evening we went straight to the Halloween party hosted by NYX. As Alice in Wonderland, the mad hatter and the lady of the heart, we set off to end a nice day in Berlin in “Wonderland After Dark“.

This month was probably the most turbulent month in a long time for me. Henrik and I are moving! After one year looking for a new apartment, we finally found something. All of a sudden everything has to go very fast and we are packing everything together and bringing it to the new apartment. Today we are moving and all our friends are helping us. Therefor, my highlight this month is definitely the move. It’s a lot of stress, but I’m so grateful for having so many great people around us. Our parents have helped and supported us already beforehand so much and all our family and friends have offered their help directly.

So it’s time to say “goodbye” to our old apartment. I’m looking forward to a new chapter with our new apartment, but right now I’m also a bit sentimental towards our old apartment. Our first apartment in the heart of Eimsbüttel was something special for us. We spent such an incredible time here together. We laughed, sang, danced, cried, quarreled and reconciled again. After more than four years, the time has came and we are ready for this new period of life.
