My First Sunset On Bali

We are now two days here on Bali and I must say this is indeed a magical place. I couldn’t really understand why everyone who had been here before just raved about it. Now I have spent two days here and can absolutely understand it.

Most of all I was thrilled by the fact that everyone celebrates the sunset here. They meet in the evenings at the most beautiful places on the beach to eat together and above all to enjoy the sunset together. The surfers are up to the last second in the water and wait for the perfect wave, the children dance to the music at the sea and simply all are in a good mood and enjoy the here and now.

I myself can hardly wait to see what we will experience here in the next two weeks. Today is only the third evening and I just have a smile on my face. The first two nights we were in Canggu and today we went on to Seminyak. Here we will spend the next four days. Tomorrow morning we all have our first surf lesson and I’m totally excited and curious how we’ll do.
