MBFW – Cord meets snake print

You would have laughed when you had seen how my apartment looked like when I was packing my suitcase for Berlin. Since we spend last week in Berlin, I had to arrange and prepare everything during the past weeks already. That means everything I love and was proven to be useful was already in moving boxes. Which kind of made it difficult for me to choose my outfits but I had a “strategy” which went really well for all my fashion week looks.

To be specific, I didn’t want to put complete outfits together because I am in the “get rid of things” mood. Therefore, I tried to choose highlight pieces and meanwhile I found my preference for statement jackets. Also, lots of brown and beige shades made it into my suitcase and overall my whole style became more minimalistic and more fancy. That might have to do with the thought of moving and from saying goodbye to many things and clothing pieces. When I went shopping, I was constantly thinking in the back of my head only to purchase things that I will be happy about for a long time.

And my conclusion is positive about this new attitude. I never had so little luggage before and in addition to it I felt so comfortable yet stylish in these outfits. Somehow the time for flashy clothes – at least for me – is over and this provides me with more calmness towards the MBFW.

    • Hallo Emilie,

      Maike
