At the beginning of July the German and international fashion scene will come together again in Berlin. This time the three of us will be in the capital again for Fashion week, after I couldn’t be there in January. Looking back over the past few years, it’s really crazy how often we’ve been around and how the MBFW has changed since then.

While our studies we founded Shoppisticated and after a year we actually received the first invitations to small fashion shows in Berlin. Unfortunately, we could NEVER participate the Fashion Week because it always clashed exactly with the exam phase. This was very sad especially the first times. Because we worked very hard to find our place in the fashion industry and the blogosphere. The Fashion Week was always a big dream in this context, but it came true for us at the end of university

 

“I remember it like it was yesterday, as we meticulously put together our outfits for each day, how Kira and I wore too high-heeled shoes one day, and woke up at night with calf cramps.”

 

Each year, we became more experienced have learned to coordinate the tight timetable in advance. And yet it happens to us again and again that we unfortunately can’t make some appointments. You meet so many people, shows are delayed or the traffic thwarts the plan. But that’s the way it is!  For us it has become more important that we could take as many inspirations, new ideas, exciting new contacts and especially beautiful experiences home. Because those are the things that stay.
