This is one of the many songs of our playlist, which we sang along on the streets of Los Angeles in our Jeep. And indeed there is much truth in the quote “You could travel the world but nothing comes close to the golden coast”.

Barely no city has caught us so much in advance as Los Angeles. Because the idea of endless beaches with the sweet lifeguard houses, palm trees as far as the eye can see and bright sunshine made us dream about L.A. In addition this special atmosphere, which is characterized by the world famous film industry, numerous artists and their apparently perfect lifestyle. Who wouldn’t want to stroll over the Walk of Fame while drinking the favorite smoothie of the stars and have a little Hollywood moment on your own?

After our first trip to New York and our roadtrip last summer, it was clear that Los Angeles had to become our next destination in America. A common dream that became reality just one year later. In the heart of downtown we found our home in the 8th + Hope apartments with Fewo-direct Home away . A beautiful place over the rooftops of L.A. Every morning we felt directly the big city vibes with a overwhelming view.

For us, trips like this belong in a certain way to our everyday life, but will always be something very special. The excitement before each trip is big and the anticipation rises almost every day. And of course we like to make every trip an unforgettable experience. This succeeds especially with your best friends by your side and a place which temporarily becomes a home. Because you all know the quote “Home is where your heart is” and we really lost our “travel-heart” in Los Angeles.
