Do you remember the time when it was super cool when the shoes were completely covered by the wide legs of the pants? Or when only the toe-cap of the Adidas Superstar sneakers appears under the flared trousers hem? Flared pants were the biggest trend of my schooldays and for a long time I didn’t understand why things should change. But then everyone was wearing the extreme low-rise jeans with super tight legs and “high waist” was a foreign word for me at that time.
Almost 10 years after I have worn a flared pants for the last time, I am feeling the 70s vibe of this pants model again. The pants with high stretch emphasizes the legs and runs to the hem widely. As a result, the legs look slim with a cool vintage touch. Pointed ankle boots intensify this effect and it is probably the adult interpretation of the flared pants trend, which I already loved even then.
