The launch of our own shoe collection SHOPPISTICTAED COLLECTIONwas on August 30, 2018 already and a lot has been happening since then. Thus, while we were travelling , producing new content for the blog and worked on other projects we worked on new shoe models. The feeling is unbelievable how after months of formation processes to hold your own shoe in your hands. Lots ask questions how the design process works. How much of your own creativity is involved and what inspired each shoe model?

I will answer a few of these question and I want to give you a small impression what happens backstage of SHOPPISTICATED COLLECTION.

The ones of you, who have been following us form the start know that we got to know each other during our studies. Since then it has been our dream to create our own product. Despite all the theory during our studies it is totally different to really get in touch and work with producers. It means discussing new ideas and sketches with them. We evaluate if our vision is feasible in the end and what kind of materials are suiting. We provide very detailed sketches and technical drawings and describe our vison very precisely. How high and wide should the sock style fit be? What distance should the stud have? What shape and height should the heel have? Subsequently, we choose together the material, the sole, the stud, the shoelace and much more. This process takes as long as the perfect fit, the wearing comfort and look meets our demands. After all these agreements, the producer create a sample which we critically evaluate. As soon as we are satisfied with the sample and no more adjustments need to be done, we give the final call for the production.

While the shoe is being produced, we are taking care of creating pictures, product information, newsletter and integration into the online shop. When all the information is added, and the production is done the new shoe is launched. Let´s talk about the latest model, which was launched last week.

The AUSTIN Bootieis a western inspired cowboy boot with trendy snake print details.
