Layered in luck

Vor einigen Tagen sang mein Freund mir um 24.00 Uhr ein Geburtstagsständchen, ich pustete die Kerzen aus, wünschte mir etwas und leitete so eine unbeschreiblichen schönen Tag ein. Denn das Wichtigste sind weder Geschenke oder andere materielle Dinge. Es sind die Menschen, die einem mit einer kleinen Nachricht, einem Anruf oder einer netten Geste ein Lächeln auf das Gesicht zaubern. Und von diesen Momenten gab es letzten Dienstag eine ganze Menge.

Sonja, Laura und ich ließen uns Vormittags am Hafen im wunderschönen Au Quai Restaurant von der Neuentdeckung bareMinerals verzaubern und lernten eine Menge in Sachen Beauty. Danach wurden noch einige Bilder geschossen, denn eine Kulisse wie den Hafen, hat man ja nicht täglich. Abends trafen wir uns alle bei Hans im Glück um anzustoßen und Kira von ihrem Wochenendtrip aus Stuttgart wieder in Hamburg willkommen zu heißen.

Es war ein Tag, der mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleibt und hoffentlich im nächsten Jahr ähnlich schön wird. Bis dahin sind es ja lediglich 365 Tage und die rennen ja bekanntlich immer schneller, je älter man wird.

Just a few days ago my boyfriend sang a birthday-song at 0 ò clock for me, I blew the candles out and made a wish. That was the beginning of a wonderful day. Because the most important aren’t the material things like presents. The most important thing are the people, who made you smile just with a little message or a little gesture.

Sonja, Laura and I enjoyed the morning at the beautiful restaurant Au Quai at the habor. There we meet the friendly team of bareMinerals and were able to take a first look at the new Complex Rescue line. It is a moisturizing tinted cream, that make you skin look naturally beauty. Honestly we were blown away and can’t wait until April to get it on the german market. After that we decided to take some pictures, because a gorgeous setting as the harbor is also rarely for us. The highlight was our dinner in the evening at the Hans im Glück, where we welcomed also Kira from her trip to Stuttgart and clinked glasses.

It was a perfect day, I will remember for a long time and already hope, that the next year is going to be as good as this year. Until then there are just 365 days to be gone, but the older you get, the faster the time runs.
